The first thing that we do after we wake-up is to read a newspaper or switch on the TV for news. There are some new news, hot ones, sports, entertainment etc…there is certainly a difference between the news we hear from yesterday. One news, One word that constantly repeats is “DEATH/DISABILITY DUE TO ROAD-ACCIDENT”.

Have we ever slept a single night without hearing this word? Have we ever thought about this? Doesn’t the thinking alone bring back memories of dear ones who met some tragic accidents?

In a country where we think the most dangerous thing is “Terrorism”, the accident statistics delivers the most shocking news. Tamilnadu in particular has grown into the most accident-prone state and it amounts to 32 deaths a day. 32!!!! In a single day…32 families has to leave the homes, at least 32 children has to stop their education……the sad story would never end.

WHAT IS THE REASON? CAN’T THIS BE STOPPED? CAN I DO SOMETHING? We probably know the reasons even before the question are raised. The time has to come to bring in our ‘FIRST CHANGE’……Do look up for updates….
